  • Client’s Name: Lukasz Pappas
  • Category: Repairing
  • Value: £554,543
  • Year Completed: April 2013
  • Area: 21,000 m2

Key Challenges:

Meeting precise timescales and incorporating numerous extra works

Works comprised:

  • refurbishment all floors and the standard offices including structural alterations;
  • remodelling of the toilets and all plumbing work;
  • remodelling and refurbishment of all electrical and mechanical work;
  • refurbishment of four executive offices with en-suite toilets within heritage guidelines;
  • redecoration of all open office areas, the restaurant and resting area and two meeting rooms;
  • refurbishment of the reception area and;
  • demolition of an external wall and extending York Stone paving at the property approach.

Last Planner sessions with our supply chain and the Client Team ensured a weekly schedule of works was mutually agreed. Precise programming and a scrupulous quality procedure were administered on an office-by-office basis.

We deployed time-efficient methods but retained compliance and quality. For example, in the listed area we used an approved renovation plaster in place of the original, slow-drying horse hair lime plaster.

We worked extended days and despite a high number of additional works the project was delivered on time. The quality of the finished product and the process by which it was achieved were highly applauded by the property management.
